HarlequinTEEN Reading into Romance: Hooked by Liz Fichera
HarlequinTEEN’s spring Reading into Romance
Spring is in the air and HarlequinTEEN wants you to fall in love! And they have just the books to make that happen!
In this epic tour, we’ll be featuring 9 authors and their amazing, toe-curlingly romantic books!
The author that I am excited to be featuring is Liz Fichera, author of HOOKED.
I loved this book and I adore Liz so I am happy to have her back on the blog. She will be sharing a cute little “recipe” for romance.
Recipe for Romance in the Desert
By Liz Fichera, author of Hooked
* One moonless, windless evening.
* Two coyotes howling in the distance.
* A million stars.
* One deserted road, near the edges where the barbed wire meets miles of uninterrupted desert.
* Two sets of parents, unaware that their teens have sneaked out of the house.
* An iPod filled with tunes.
* Two warm root beers.
* The hood of a car.
* A shy but curious girl.
* A confused but love-struck boy.
* A smattering of soft words to break the ice.
* Trembling hands to reach for each other.
* Breath that mixes together.
* Two racing hearts.
* A Universe that cracks open.
* One first kiss.
The directions must be followed in order and cannot be repeated. You never get another chance for another First Kiss.
I love it! That is pure perfection. Now if only this would happen to me….

Baseball …. I am almost convinced some of the guys in Baseball are the hottest on the planet!
NFL Football for me. Good stuff menard! Especially Aaron Rodgers and Clay Matthews! Great giveaway!
Yeah, I am gonna have to agree with you on Clay Matthews. That man is gorgeous!
Most definitely baseball. There’s just something about those boys : )
I love baseball. I watch every game the Cardinals play. It’s my summer obsession. But right now is hockey season, and I love my Blues. Thank you for the giveaway.
Gymnastics is my favorite sport to watch – although I prefer watching girls gymnastics. The guys are pretty hot though. I like watching snowboarding, although the guys are so covered up that it’s hard to marvel at them. How about swimming?
This is a super fun post. Love the “recipe” it’s fabulous! My favorite sport to watch is football, but I love a lot of different sports.
The NFL!!
Hockey is my first love followed by football
. Thank you.
I am really excited to read this book! Thank you!
I love dodgeball!
I have to say that I really like football.. but then again men’s olympic gymnastics is fun to watch too…
Baseball, of course!
I”m not sure about warm root beers (always makes me burp which is decidedly unsexy) but I’m all about that first kiss! *fireworks*
DA BEARS!! AND USC GAMECOCKS!! I’m a huge football girl — have been since I was little, watching the Bears (usually lose but I was in it for the snacks) with my dad.
basketball
It’s football. I don’t really understand the strategy but some of those football players are so good looking and fit.
Beach Volleyball! And soccer, of course.
Not a big fan of sports…
Maybe tennis?
